A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on South Main Street in Bellefontaine just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday, according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
Dale Schutte, 63, of Sidney, was driving a 2011 Honda Odyssey southbound and was attempting to make a right turn when his vehicle was struck from behind by a 2021 KTM motorcycle ridden by Brad Francis, 29, of Bellefontaine.
Francis was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital by Mac-O-Chee EMS with suspected serious injuries.
He was also cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
