Motorcyclist seriously injured in Champaign County crash

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a serious motorcycle crash that happened just after 9 p.m. Wednesday on State Route 559 in Rush Township.

Troopers say a 2008 Harley Davidson Road King, operated by 60-year-old Donald Jones of West Mansfield, lost control of his vehicle and went off the side of the roadway while negotiating a curve south of Glendenning Road.

Jones was transported to OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
