A Lakeview man was arrested Tuesday afternoon after an altercation at a camper in Lakeview.
Deputies were called shortly after 3:00 p.m. after reviewing reports that a male had attacked a female.
On arrival, deputies detained 62-year-old Tommy Neeley, who reportedly lives in a camper on the property.
Neeley admitted to grabbing the woman during the confrontation but denied hurting her.
The victim told deputies that the situation escalated after Neeley became frustrated during a disagreement inside the camper.
She said Neeley shoved his finger in her face, pushed her onto a bed, and strangled her, preventing her from breathing or calling for help.
After she was able to escape the camper, she said Neeley followed her outside and pounded on her car window.
The victim sustained injuries to her neck and back.
An ambulance checked the victim at the scene, but she declined medical treatment.
Neeley was transported to the Logan County Jail and lodged on charges of assault and strangulation.
