A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of North Main Street and East Sandusky Avenue in Bellefontaine resulted in no reported injuries Thursday evening.
According to a crash report released Wednesday by the Bellefontaine Police Department, the crash happened around 5:25 p.m. last Thursday.
Police say 16-year-old Matthew Ressler of West Liberty was driving a 2024 Honda west on East Sandusky Avenue.
At the same time, 39-year-old Matthew Allinson of Bellefontaine was driving a 2019 Ford F-350 north on North Main Street and had stopped in the westbound turn lane.
Ressler turned south onto North Main Street and entered the westbound turn lane, where his Honda struck the Ford head-on.
The report noted that Ressler may have been distracted by something inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
No injuries were reported.
Ressler was cited for failure to control.
The Honda was towed from the scene.
