On Thursday, April 2, around 5:14 p.m., the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on McAdams Road north of Long Pond Road in Union Township, Champaign County.
The preliminary investigation found that a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado driven by 61-year-old Bryan Molnar of Cable crossed left of center into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a 2025 Ford Maverick driven by 62-year-old Gary Weis of Coldwater, Michigan.
Both drivers swerved in an attempt to avoid the collision. Neither Molnar nor Weis reported injuries.
Molnar was cited for traveling left of center and found at fault for the crash.
