Nominations open for Indian Lake Schools Distinguished Alumni Award for 2025

Indian Lake Local Schools is now accepting nominations for the prestigious Distinguished Alumni Award for 2025.

This award, established by the Indian Lake Board of Education in 2020, honors alumni who have made significant achievements in their fields or through service to society.

It recognizes the exceptional contributions of graduates from Indian Lake High School as well as those from the former schools of Huntsville, Stokes, and Washington that merged to form the district.

The Distinguished Alumni Award showcases the success of Indian Lake Schools through the accomplishments of its former students.

As the district has educated thousands of individuals, many have gone on to make lasting impacts in various professions, demonstrating the true measure of the school’s success.

Past award recipients include:

  • 2020: Judy Grubbs
  • 2021: Even Stevens
  • 2022: Kay Tracy
  • 2023: Doyle Miller (posthumously) and Jeneane “Lefty” Des Combes Lesko
  • 2024: Jim Jenkins

The nominations for the 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award are open, and the community is encouraged to recognize graduates who have made a significant difference in their chosen fields or through their service to the community.
