The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is reminding boaters of several important rules and deadlines as the boating season winds down at Indian Lake.
Buoys have been removed from the lake for the season. However, the no-wake zone extending 300 feet from shore remains in effect even without the buoys.
The ODNR also reminds boaters that all boats must be removed from state docks by November 1.
Those interested in securing a dock for next season have until October 31 to enter the dock lottery.
Boaters can submit aerator permit applications at the park office.
The ODNR thanks everyone for a great boating season at Indian Lake and wishes the community a safe and enjoyable winter.
