Several construction projects are expected to impact travel on state highways in Champaign County this week.

New Impacts:
- State Route 29 Closure – State Route 29 between State Route 245 and Cemetery Road will be closed Tuesday, September 2, through Friday, September 12, for a culvert replacement. A detour is in place: State Route 29 west to State Route 235 south, then U.S. 36 east to State Route 560 north.
- U.S. 36 Closure in St. Paris – U.S. 36 between State Route 235 and Heck Hill Road will be closed Saturday, September 6, for a local festival. Motorists should follow posted detours.
Continuing Impacts:
- State Route 507 – Between U.S. 68 and State Route 245, lanes will be intermittently reduced to one lane this week from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. while crews repave the roadway. Traffic will be managed with a flagging operation.
- U.S. 68 – Between U.S. 36 and the Logan/Champaign County line, traffic will also see intermittent single-lane restrictions this week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. as crews continue repaving.
