Drivers in Champaign County should plan for continued lane restrictions on several state routes due to roadway resurfacing projects.
According to ODOT District 7, State Route 29 between State Route 235 and State Route 560 will continue to have intermittent single-lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. through September.
State Route 245 between Brush Lake Road and Gilbert Road will also be reduced to one lane at times during the same hours through September.
Traffic in both work zones will be maintained with flagging operations while crews repave the roadway.
ODOT encourages drivers to use caution in construction areas and allow extra travel time.
