Motorists in Champaign County should plan for possible delays as two state highway resurfacing projects continue this week.
According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, State Route 29 between State Route 235 and State Route 560 will continue to experience intermittent single-lane restrictions through September.
Lane closures will take place between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m., with traffic maintained by flaggers while crews repave the roadway.
Drivers should also expect intermittent lane restrictions on State Route 245 between Brush Lake Road and Gilbert Road.
That project will also continue through September, with work taking place from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and traffic controlled by a flagging operation.
ODOT advises motorists to use caution in work zones, watch for workers and equipment, and allow extra travel time when passing through construction areas.
