Drivers in Champaign County should expect several ongoing road projects to cause lane restrictions next week.
The Ohio Department of Transportation says crews will continue repaving work on State Route 55, between Old Troy Pike and U.S. 68.
The highway will be reduced intermittently to one lane from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., with traffic controlled by flaggers.
That work is expected to continue through August.
On State Route 29, crews are repaving between State Route 235 and State Route 560.
Intermittent single-lane restrictions will be in place from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. through September.
There will also be intermittent lane restrictions on State Route 245 between Brush Lake Road and Gilbert Road.
That work is also scheduled from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. through September as crews continue repaving.
And on U.S. 68, between State Route 55, or Lewis B. Moore Drive, and Springfield Pike, crews are resurfacing the highway.
Lane restrictions will be in place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. as needed, with flaggers directing traffic.
That project is expected to continue through the fall.
ODOT reminds drivers to slow down, watch for crews, and allow extra time when traveling through these work zones.
