The Ohio Department of Transportation reminds drivers of an ongoing closure of State Route 274 in Logan County as construction continues on a roundabout at the intersection with U.S. Route 33.

State Route 274 remains closed between U.S. Route 33 and State Route 117.

The closure began September 25 and was originally expected to last approximately 45 days.

Drivers should continue to follow the posted detour using U.S. Route 33 to State Route 117.

Motorists traveling through the area are also reminded to slow down and use caution when approaching the new roundabout, as it introduces a different traffic pattern.

Drivers should watch for signs, yield as required, and remain alert for other vehicles.

The work is weather permitting.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time when traveling through the area.
