Motorists traveling through Champaign County should expect delays this week as several Ohio Department of Transportation paving projects continue.

State Route 55 remains under intermittent lane restrictions between Old Troy Pike and U.S. 68.

Traffic is reduced to a single lane from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. with flaggers directing vehicles. T

he project is expected to continue through August.

State Route 29 is also intermittently reduced to one lane between State Route 235 and State Route 560 during the same hours.

Repaving work on that section is scheduled to continue through September.

In addition, State Route 245 between Brush Lake Road and Gilbert Road is under daytime lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. as crews continue repaving the roadway.

That project is also expected to continue through September.

ODOT reminds drivers to slow down, stay alert for workers and flaggers, and plan for extra travel time when driving through construction zones.
