It was a big night for Ohio Hi-Point seniors as the Class of 2025 was celebrated during the school’s annual Convocation Ceremony, held Wednesday evening at Bellefontaine High School.
Hundreds of families, friends, and faculty filled the gym to cheer on 322 students from a wide range of career programs, from welding and health careers to media arts and engineering.
Five graduating seniors took the mic as featured speakers, sharing their journeys and what’s next after Hi-Point.
The lineup included Karson Instine (HVAC), Elias Abrego (Engineering Academy), Laila Lynch (Graphic and Media Arts), Hayley Deitsch (Health Careers), and Travis Brooks (Welding and Fabrication).
Local broadcasting legend Lou Vito returned for his 37th year to introduce students.
Superintendent Rick Smith praised the class for their hard work, adaptability, and the wide range of skills they’re taking into the world, whether straight into a career or on to more education.
The event was free and open to the public, with guests arriving early to grab seats.
