Ohio is seeing strong momentum in new business formation.
Secretary of State Frank LaRose’s office reports 19,669 new businesses filed in March, bringing the 2026 total so far to 55,635.
Locally, Logan County saw 5 new business registrations, while Champaign County added 4.
While smaller numbers, these filings show that entrepreneurship is alive and well in west-central Ohio.
LaRose says the numbers reflect Ohioans’ continued interest in starting and growing businesses.
His office provides tools and resources to make the registration process easier, including a public business data dashboard where anyone can explore filings by county and track trends.
