Ohio high school students interested in law, government, and public service have an opportunity to gain firsthand experience through the Ohio Attorney General’s Teen Ambassador Board.
The Attorney General’s Office is now accepting applications for the 2026-27 academic year.
The program is open to rising high school juniors and seniors attending public, private, charter, or online schools.
Attorney General Andy Wilson says the program gives students a chance to see how government works while developing leadership skills they can take back to their communities.
Ambassadors will serve a one-year term and work with an assistant attorney general.
Throughout the year, students will have opportunities to attend events across Ohio, participate in training sessions, and hear presentations on a variety of topics.
Students will also have the opportunity to hear from elected officials and meet with Wilson.
The Attorney General’s Office says ideal candidates are motivated, enthusiastic self-starters with an interest in law and government.
Applications are due September 8, 2026. Each application must include a recommendation from a teacher, coach, or community member.
