Bellefontaine Police were alerted to a stolen vehicle Saturday on North Detroit Street in Bellefontaine.
During routine patrol, officers spotted the red Chevy 2500 pick-up truck that was reported stolen and initiated the traffic stop. During the stop, they also found a container of methamphetamine.
The driver, Michael Pitts, 37, of Lima, was arrested without incident and lodged in Logan County Jail. He is charged with possession of drugs and receiving stolen property.
