One driver injured in three-vehicle crash

One driver was injured following a three-vehicle accident outside of Bellefontaine Friday night just after 8:30.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office reports Terry McKellop, 60, of Zanesfield, was stopped on State Route 274 facing east when he traveled across Route 68 and was struck by Kwinn Williams, 21, of Jasper, Michigan.

After the first collision, Williams struck Nicholas Richardson, 44, of Huntsville, who was on 274 facing west. Richardson then struck a stop sign.

McKellop suffered minor injuries and was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by BMRT EMS.

His passenger, Jill McKellop, 58, of Zanesfield, also suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mary Rutan by Bellefontaine EMS. She was not wearing her seat belt.

Richardson and Williams were not injured.

All three drivers were wearing their seat belts.

McKellop was cited for failure to yield.

All three vehicles suffered heavy damage.
