The 2025 Open Class Goat Show was held Tuesday afternoon at the Logan County Fair.
The show consisted of five categories of does (female) in different age groups.
The following are the results from the show:
0-6 Months
1st – Cael Penhorwood
2nd – Karg Farms
3rd – New Beginnings McClintick Show Stock
4th – Double H Farms
5th – Double H Farms
6-9 Months
1st – New Beginnings McClintick Show Stock
2nd – New Beginnings McClintick Show Stock
3rd – Karen Nichols
4th – Julie Nichols
9 Months-1 Year
1st – New Beginnings McClintick Show Stock
1-Under 2 Years
1st – New Beginnings McClintick Show Stock
2nd – New Beginnings McClintick Show Stock
3rd – New Beginnings McClintick Show Stock
4th – Double H Farms
2-Under 3 Years
1st – New Beginnings McClintick Show Stock
New Beginnings McClintick Show Stock walked away with both the Grand Champion and Reserve Champions awards.
Grand Champion – Sophia McClintick (6-9 month 1st place)
Reserve Champion – Savannah McClintick (1 Year-Under 2 Years 1st place)
The McClintick family children; Shyanne, Savannah, Dalton, and Sophia, all raise goats on their family farm.
