An Oregon man is facing charges after deputies say he was driving impaired in Logan County Saturday night.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, 56-year-old Timothy Hoebel was stopped on State Route 117 near State Route 366 after deputies saw his white Ford F-150 cross the fog line several times.
When pulled over, Hoebel’s truck continued for a distance before driving into a ditch and coming to a stop.
Deputies reported he showed several signs of intoxication.
Hoebel agreed to field sobriety tests but failed them.
A search of his vehicle uncovered a mostly empty water bottle filled with a red liquid that had a strong smell of alcoholic beverages.
He was transported to the Logan County Jail, where a breath test showed a BAC of .215—nearly three times Ohio’s legal limit of .08.
Hoebel was cited and lodged for Operating a Vehicle While Impaired (OVI).
