Just after 1:30 Friday morning, fire crews were called to a barn fire at Levan’s Excavating on 68 just South of Bellefontaine.
Several agencies including Bellefontaine, Zanesfield, DeGraff, and Huntsville, assisted West Liberty in controlling the blaze.
It’s reported that several neighbors heard explosions as the fire spread throughout the structure.
No injuries were reported.
Damage is valued at more than one million dollars due to the amount of equipment that was in the barn.
Crews will remain on the scene through much of the day Friday.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the state Fire Marshall.
