According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, a pair of people were taken to the hospital Monday evening after a rear-end crash on State Route 47.
Just after 6 p.m., a 2019 Infiniti Q60 driven by Hayley Palmer, 39, of Bellefontaine, was slowing down to turn into a driveway when it was struck from behind by a 2017 Chevy Tahoe.
The Tahoe was operated by Ke’Shawn Blackwell, 18, of Huntsville.
Blackwell and his 13-year-old passenger were transported to Mary Rutan Hospital for evaluation of possible minor injuries.
According to the report, Blackwell was cited for following too closely.
Deputies also noted he had been using an electronic device at the time of the crash.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
