Bellefontaine Police are investigating a Friday afternoon crash that left a local man with suspected serious injuries.
Just after noon, officers were called to the intersection of North Madriver Street and East Sandusky Avenue.
According to the report, a 2022 Toyota Sienna driven by 46-year-old Moriah Richter of Lima was traveling north on Madriver and turning west onto East Sandusky when she struck a pedestrian in the unmarked crosswalk.
The pedestrian, 79-year-old Michael Hawkey of Bellefontaine, was walking across East Sandusky at the time of the collision.
Hawkey was transported by Bellefontaine EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of suspected serious injuries.
Richter was cited for disregarding signal indications.
