Wednesday afternoon Laura Pratt, 56, of Lakeview, had just picked up children from a bus stop in Lakeview.
According to Logan County Sheriff deputies, Pratt was backing down the roadway to turn around in an alley, when she struck Kayla Logsdon, 17, of Lakeview.
Logsdon was transported to Lima Memorial Hospital by Indian Lake EMS for serious injuries.
She is listed in stable condition as of Thursday morning.
Pratt was issued a citation for improper backing.
