Sunday, in Russells Point, Logan County Sheriff Deputies saw a white Ford pickup truck swerving on the road and initiated a traffic stop.
Slow to react, the vehicle continued several hundred feet before turning into the Dollar General parking lot.
When deputies spoke with the driver, Ashton Piper, 21, of Sidney, they noticed several signs of impairment.
Piper then failed several field sobriety tests.
He was then arrested and taken to the Bellefontaine Police Department where he blew a BAC of .147, nearly two times the legal limit.
Piper was then cited for two counts of OVI and driving in marked lanes and released to a sober driver.
