Police Investigate Vandalism Involving Juveniles

A vandalism incident happened on Kristina Drive on Monday evening, involving a group of juveniles.

Bellefontaine Police Officers responded to a call about a broken window at a home on the 400 block of Kristina Drive.

The caller reported seeing six juveniles, between 11 and 16, dressed in black clothing, wearing masks, and running away from the scene.

When officers arrived, they spoke with the victims, who said they were inside their home when they heard glass breaking.

Upon inspection, it was found that the outer window was shattered, while the inner window remained intact.

The property manager estimated the damage to be around $250.

Officers searched the area, but no suspects were found.

The victims said they did not recognize the individuals or have any known reasons for being targeted.

Officers also learned from a passerby that a juvenile matching the description had been seen at a nearby Dollar General store.

However, when officers checked the store, they did not find anyone matching the description.

Local authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
