AES Ohio is working to restore power to customers on the north side of Bellefontaine after a pole fire caused intermittent outages Wednesday morning.
The fire, which broke out on a utility pole, disrupted electrical service in several neighborhoods in the area.
AES Ohio reported that outages have occurred intermittently throughout the morning, with crews responding quickly to the scene to address the issue.
The utility company has stated that power is expected to be fully restored around noon, although residents may experience temporary interruptions as repairs continue.
More than 1,000 customers are affected by the outage.
Customers are encouraged to check the company’s outage map for real-time updates on power restoration.
