Bellefontaine Police arrested Briana Queen, 32, of Bellefontaine, for assault after attacking a woman at a local business on Saturday.

The incident began when Queen made several visits to the business, purchasing alcohol and engaging in a heated conversation with the victim.

The victim reported that Queen had been upset after learning about their past relationship with Queen’s child’s father.

The situation worsened when Queen returned to the business, entered the office, and confronted the victim.

Queen reportedly started yelling at the victim, shoving them, and eventually attacking them.

During the struggle, Queen allegedly pulled the victim’s hair and hit them several times with a space heater.

After the attack, Queen left the business.

The victim later gave a statement to the police and provided evidence, including a damaged space heater and a bag of hair that was pulled from their scalp during the assault.

Police officers found Queen at her home, where they were told she was intoxicated.

After trying to contact her without success, they eventually spoke to Queen, who admitted to the assault.

She told officers she was angry and had “blacked out” during the incident.

Queen was arrested and taken to the Logan County Jail, where she was charged with assault.
