The Logan County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 200 block of Canby Street in Quincy early Monday morning, in reference to a domestic dispute.
Nicholas Marmon and a female had been arguing in the front yard of the residence.
Nicholas informed deputies that the female woke him up around 1 AM accusing him of cheating on her. The couple then argued throughout the night until officers arrived on the scene.
The female told officers that she had gone through his cell phone, and found him to be cheating on her. When she confronted him, the two began to argue. Nicholas then became violet, grabbing her arms, choking her, and putting her into headlocks which caused bruising on her foot and right inner arm, and skinning her knee.
Nicholas’s aunt, who lives with the couple, told law enforcement that she had heard what could have been several possible physical altercations.
Nicholas was placed under arrest for Domestic Violence and transported to the Logan County Jail.
