The Logan County Court of Common Pleas General Division has scheduled a change of plea and sentencing hearing for Kenton Quint, 66, of Bellefontaine, for Wednesday, December 10, at 1 p.m.
According to the Logan County Grand Jury, he has been charged with one count of aggravated murder with a three-year firearm specification and one count of murder, also with a three-year firearm specification.
Quint faces charges stemming from events on March 18 when law enforcement was dispatched to Quint’s Clagg Street home regarding a shooting.
Upon arrival, they found Wanda Quint, 68, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.
According to a 911 call, Quint told dispatchers he shot his wife.
Quint is currently being held at the Logan County Jail.
The upcoming change of plea and sentencing hearing will determine whether Quint will enter a plea and, if applicable, his sentencing.
