The top three overall finishers by gender will receive a custom medal crafted by the OHP Welding and Fabrication students.

Last year, over 100 runners participated and raised $2,000 for JDRF. The students have a goal to have 200 runners this year.

“The students have been working really hard to put this race on,” said Megan Lacher, OHP Health Careers Academy. “Together as a group they decide what organization they want to support each year, and this year they want all the proceeds to benefit the Breast Cancer Fund of Ohio.”

The Breast Cancer Fund of Ohio helps breast cancer patients survive the hardships of cancer treatments by providing emergency financial assistance. This organization distributes thousands of dollars to nonprofit organizations throughout Ohio that provide emergency funding to breast cancer patients undergoing active treatment, and 100 percent of funds raised by the Breast Cancer Fund of Ohio stay in Ohio.

This event is for anyone who wishes to run/walk in support of this impactful foundation. To register, go to www.ohiohipoint.com/hustle.To register, go to www.ohiohipoint.com/hustle.
