Megan Kandel and Nicki Kimball of Raising Arrows spoke at the Urbana Lions Club’s weekly meeting on Wednesday, sharing the story and mission behind their nonprofit, which supports foster and kinship families across a six-county area.
The organization provides essential items like clothing, hygiene products, and other supplies to families in need in the foster and kinship sectors.
What began as a simple donation drive after one family recognized the growing need has now evolved into a full-fledged nonprofit.
