A traffic accident on Sunday evening, involving a car and an Amish horse and buggy resulted in minor injuries to a passenger.
According to Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies, Rickie Jacobs, 44, of Huntsville, was traveling northbound on State Route 235 when he rear-ended a horse and buggy operated by Tom Wagler, 71, of DeGraff.
The impact prompted immediate concern for those in the buggy.
Barbra Wagler, 69, also of DeGraff and a passenger in the buggy, was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital by Riverside EMS for treatment of minor injuries.
Jacobs was cited for Assured Clear Distance Ahead.
