Take a bow Logan County! You helped raise a record amount for the annual United Way fall campaign in 2022.
Executive Director Dave Bezusko revealed at the Live United Awards Tuesday morning, that the campaign ended with $1,102,249.
This is the largest campaign in Logan County history and Logan County is the smallest community in Ohio to raise over a million dollars.
This is the fifth straight year United Way of Logan County has been over a million.
The awards ceremony highlighted many who helped make this happen.
197 businesses and over 2,500 individuals gave to United Way of Logan County in 2022.
The company that had the #1 campaign was NX Automotive Logistics bringing in over $209,000. This is the 5th year in a row NX has been the top campaign. They have 95% participation among their associates and they have raised over 1 million dollars for Logan County since 2017.
The annual Traveling Trophy Awards are given out to one large and one small company that has the highest per capita giving.
This year the large company award went to Marker Construction. The 150 Marker associates helped raise nearly $88,000 for the 2022 campaign with a corporate match.
President/CEO Alison Marker says Marker, Inc. loves Logan County and sees the United Way as a great portal for their associates to give back to the community.
The small company trophy went to PCPI Plastics where an amazing 25 employees generously gave to get their campaign over $42,000. PCPI is the 5th highest campaign in the county. With a 100% corporate match of employee giving, they have a county-best of $1,411 per capita.
President Dawn Beelman says her company has been involved with United Way for over 30 years and says getting the word out to the employees and showing them the need has been key in their successful campaigns.

Gold Awards: Belletech, TDH Law, Powerbuilt, Riverside Schools, Smith, Smith Montgomery, & Chamberlain, Community Health & Wellness Partners, Indian Lake Schools, World Class Plastics, Daido Metal, Lutheran Community Services, Logan County Electric Cooperative, Benjamin Logan Schools, RTC Services, City of Bellefontaine, Citizen’s Federal Savings & Loan, V-Teck Communications, and the Logan County Chamber of Commerce.
Bronze Awards: West Liberty-Salem Schools, Green Hills Community, and Midwest Regional ESC.
Good Neighbor Awards: Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, Open Road Renewables, Centerpoint Energy, Middlefield Banking Company, Coverlink Insurance, Richwood Bank, Zimmerman Realty, Transportation Research Center, Agiliti, Deep Fiber Consulting, the Lewis and Dorothy Tamplin Trust, Peak Propane, R.D. Holder Oil, and Scott Family McDonald’s.
United Way of Logan County helps fund 27 different agencies in the community. They also provide for several programs like the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, Housing Stability Program, Community Care Day, Stuff the Bus, and Live United @ Work Financial Wellness for employees.
