The holiday season will soon be over, but the sparkle doesn’t have to end—at least not in an environmentally friendly way.
The Logan County Recycling Center is now accepting burnt-out Christmas light strands at its main office in Bellefontaine, providing residents with a simple way to dispose of old lights responsibly.
Residents can bring their used holiday lights inside the office at 1100 South Detroit Street, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., through January 31, 2026.
For more information or questions, residents can call the recycling center at 937-599-1253.
