State Representative Ty Mathews (R-Findlay) is encouraging students across Ohio to apply for the 2026 NASA Summer Internship Program, with applications now officially open.
For the Summer 2026 term, students may submit project postings through January 30, 2026, followed by a final application deadline of February 27, 2026.
Mathews says the program presents an exciting opportunity for young people interested in STEM careers.
“I’m thrilled to share an incredible opportunity for students in our community to gain real-world experience with NASA right here in Ohio,” Mathews said. “These paid internships offer a unique chance to explore careers in science and technology, and I encourage young people to take advantage of this amazing pathway to the stars.”
NASA is encouraging students to explore available projects early and prepare the required application materials well ahead of the deadlines to improve their chances of being matched with a placement.
Applications must be submitted online through the official NASA internship portal.
Students can learn more and apply by visiting NASA’s website.
