Members of the Logan County Republican Party gathered Monday afternoon for their monthly luncheon at the American Legion in Bellefontaine.
During the meeting, attendees heard from Colleen O’Donnell, who is campaigning for a seat on the Supreme Court of Ohio.
O’Donnell spoke about her background in the legal system, noting she has more than 10 years of experience on the bench. She previously served as a judge in Franklin County, Ohio, and also worked as a federal immigration judge.
During her remarks, O’Donnell discussed the importance of judicial experience and a commitment to interpreting the law as written while serving on the state’s highest court.
Also during the meeting, Ranae Lentz announced that Rob McColley will be the featured speaker at the party’s Spring Fling Lincoln Day Dinner, scheduled for Monday, April 20, at Winner Harvest Barn.
McColley, who currently serves as president of the Ohio Senate and is a candidate for lieutenant governor, will headline the annual event.
Senator Susan Manchester and State Representatives Ty Mathews and Tim Barhorst will also be on hand for questions.
