Riedel campaigns for Ohio State Senate, visits Logan County GOP

Craig Riedel, a former three-term Ohio House Representative, is seeking election to Ohio’s 1st State Senate District.

Riedel is running to fill the seat currently held by Senator Rob McColley, who is term-limited and has been selected to run as Vivek Ramaswamy’s running mate in the Ohio gubernatorial race.

Riedel is facing opposition in the Republican primary from Jim Hoops, another former state lawmaker with experience representing northwest Ohio. The primary is scheduled for May.

On Monday at noon, Riedel joined the Logan County Republican Party for lunch at the American Legion in Bellefontaine, meeting with local leaders and constituents to discuss his priorities and vision for the district.
