Riverside announces Parker, Herron as Seniors of the Month

Riverside High School has announced its April Seniors of the Month, Madison Parker and Zavier Herron.

 

Madison Parker is the daughter of Tammy & Gary Parker.

School activities & awards: I am involved in the National Honor Society, the National Technical Honor Society, Business Professionals of America, Interact Club, Student Council, and UNICEF. My awards include Evening of Excellence x4, BPA State Qualifier, BPA National Qualifier for Legal Office Procedures, BPA Executive Torch Award, BPA Diplomat Torch Award, BPA Statesman Torch Award, BPA Ambassador Torch Award, Rotary Honors, Industry certifications in Microsoft Apps, and a Completer of the Business and Administrative Services Program.

If I were principal for a day: I would make school lunch better.

Favorite school memory: The entire 6th grade.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My mother, my sisters, my niece, Mrs. Wyan, Ms. Dunham, and my best friends.

Lately, I have been reading: Arguments on Facebook

My advice to parents: Be there for your kids, not just their success.

My biggest regret: Doing online school for a couple of years.

Most embarrassing moment: When I had an accident in elementary school so badly that I stained my jeans.

Next year I will be: Attending The Ohio State University for Business Administration and English.

 

Zavier Herron is the son of Amber Savage and Aaron Savage.

School activities & awards: Football, bowling, track, and baseball varsity letters and BPA

If I were principal for a day: I would incorporate a nap period.

Favorite school memory: When I met my future friends for the first time.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My family, my friends, Gage, and Ethan Brackett

Lately, I have been reading: Lord of the Flies

My advice to parents: Raise them right.

My biggest regret: How much I misunderstood some of the people who meant a lot to me.

Most embarrassing moment: Giving up over 1000 yards in football.

Next year I will be: Going to UNOH for automotive.
