Riverside Local Schools is excited to announce their Seniors of the Month, Avery Perk and Brice Kauffman.
Avery Perk
The daughter of Chad and Shelley Perk, Avery has been recognized for her strong leadership.
She is the President of the Interact and is involved in the Student Council, Business Professionals of America, and several other groups.
Avery is also a standout athlete, having earned four varsity letters in volleyball and basketball and two in softball, where she was part of the 2023 Softball District Championship team.
She says that Mrs. Weadock, Mrs. Wyan, Mrs. Fauley, her mom, and best friend Carli have inspired her to take challenges and become the best version of herself.
Next fall she plans to attend college and major in business marketing and sports management.
Brice Kauffman
The son of Eric and Kelly Kauffman is being honored for his achievements.
Brice is a four-year letter winner on the varsity football team, helping lead them to the 2023 Three Rivers Conference Championship.
He is also active in the National Honor Society, Student Council, and Business Professionals of America, where he qualified nationally for parliamentary procedure.
Reading his Bible, Brice says that his parents, grandparents, and Bryce and Tyler Hodge have been an inspiration to him.
After high school, Brice plans to sell Senior Life insurance.
