Riverside Board of Education Celebrates 1st Anniversary of Clinic

The Riverside Board of Education celebrated the first anniversary of the Community Health and Wellness clinic that operates in the school. As previously reported on peakofohio.com, the clinic is open during school hours. It provides access to medical providers for not only the students of Riverside but also members of the communities of DeGraff and Quincy.

Riverside Superintendent Dr. Scott Mann enjoys the relationship between the school and Community Health: 

The clinic is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is available for primary care, rapid test results, and behavioral care.

The Board also approved several substitute teachers and accepted the resignation of Junior High Track Coach Elayna Richardson.

In addition, the Board approved several supplemental hires for the 2024-2025 school year:

Boys Basketball:

  • Zach Showalter, 8th grade Head Coach, Boys Basketball
  • Andrew Reinhard, 7th grade Head Coach, Boys Basketball
  • Lee Reinhard, Assistant Coach, Junior High, Boys Basketball

Track:

  • Morgan Robison, Junior High, Girls Track Coach
  • Jayden Burchett Junior High, Boys Track Coach

Baseball:

  • Todd Guthrie, Varsity Baseball, Head Coach
  • Tim Walls, Varsity Baseball, Coach
  • Ryan Robinson, Varsity Baseball, Coach
  • John Godwin, Varsity Baseball, Assistant Coach
  • Zerah Crouch, Varsity Baseball, Assistant Coach
  • Jacob Herron, Varsity Baseball, Coach

The Board also accepted a $5,000 donation from the Leagre Family for the Leagre Scholarship Fund.
