The Riverside Board of Education met in regular session Tuesday evening and tackled a light agenda.
Superintendent Dr. Scott Mann provided an update on the schools. He said that Senior Night for the Varsity Volleyball team is coming up Thursday night. He also said that he recently attended the match with Miami East and was on hand to see Emilee Robinson get her 1,000th dig.
He also said that the end of the first quarter is coming up on Friday the 16th. That same evening, the football team will take the field against Cedarville for Senior Night. Dr. Mann also said that the game will be the annual Pink Out Game.
The third graders will be taking ELA testing, with Part One being on the 20th and Part Two on the 22nd.
He also said that Grandparents Day for Grades K through 4 will be on the 23rd, and the K through 4 Community Costume Walk will be held on the 30th.
Dr. Mann said that the FFA will hold a Halloween Trail on the 31st from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Looking ahead to November, the annual Veterans Day Assembly will be held on the 11th, and the Senior Citizen Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at 5:00 PM on November 23rd.
