The first class of the year to graduate in Logan County was Riverside High School, which celebrated the achievements of its Class of 2025 Friday evening.
The school’s Valedictorian, Jayden Hoffer, addressed the graduating class as the commencement speaker.
Alongside Jayden, Jaidyn Jackson, the Salutatorian, delivered a heartfelt speech to their peers.
The ceremony also included a special message from Pastor Michael Mitchell of Cornerstone Fellowship of DeGraff & Quincy Methodist Church.
The Class Officers, led by President Carter Kreglow, Vice President Avery Perk, Secretary Bre Brandyberry, and Treasurer Jordan Dunham, had worked tirelessly to make the event a success.
The Class of 2025 had chosen Future Dusk and Peach Fuzz as their class colors, while the Chrysanthemum was selected as their class flower.
The class motto, inspired by rapper Mac Miller, read, “People change and things go wrong, but just remember, life goes on.”
Riverside High School Principal Mrs. Kelly Kauffman and District Superintendent Dr. Scott Mann, alongside family, friends, and other faculty, were in attendance to celebrate the students’ accomplishments and usher them into the next phase of their lives.
