Ellie Johnson and Margo Shipp from Riverside Local Schools recently attended the Ohio Excels conference in Columbus.
Participants included Ohio’s Governor Mike DeWine, Ohio Interim State Superintendent Dr. Stephanie Siddens, various state representatives, and educators from around the state. Johnson and Shipp represented Riverside on a five-member panel that shared the story of Riverside’s journey to learn and implement The Science of Reading methodology for reading instruction.
Shipp and Johnson are both Intervention Specialists at Riverside Local Schools.
