Students from Mr. Jack Switzer’s Riverside Middle School Ohio Model United Nations (OMNU) team presented to their board of education Tuesday evening, what their recent experience in Columbus brought to their team. At a competition, the team, who includes Morgan Shockey, Clair McGill, Valerie Knight, Addison Shoe, and Garret Muhuren (Pictured above) competed against 50 other schools from around Ohio on knowledge, skill, and much more. Shockey was the team leader and took home the Leadership Excellence Award. Mr. Switzer comment that he was pleased with how well the group worked together, and even though he is a little biased, he thought they outperformed several other schools.
