Riverside High School has named its October Seniors of the Month, Lillian Huber and Elijah Kindle.
Lillian Huber is the daughter of Adam and Cynthia Huber.
School activities: I am involved in Business Professionals of America, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Teacher’s aide for fifth-grade social studies, and last year for 5th-grade reading. I was in the choir during my freshman year.
My awards include: Honda Breakfast x2 (Algebra 1 and Chemistry), Evening of Excellence (3.5-3.9 for 2023 and 2024) (4.0 or above for 2025), Industry certified in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, 2025 State and National BPA Competitor, Four competitions in the Top 10 at the 2025 Regionals for BPA, BPA Executive Torch Award, BPA Diplomat Torch Award, OSHA-10 certified
If I were principal for a day: I would take everyone outside to get fresh air and play on the playground like we did when we were younger.
Favorite school memory: Being a teacher’s aide for Mrs. Walls for the last two years
People who have been an inspiration to me include: My parents, my little cousins, Mrs. Wyan, Mrs. Walls, Mrs. Lentz, Mrs. Fleming, Mrs. Kauffman, and Mrs. Rappold.
Lately, I have been reading: Autobiographies of celebrities and true-crime novels based on true stories
My advice to parents: Be proud that you did a great job in raising me.
My biggest regret: Not taking a business class and not being able to join BPA my freshman year.
Most embarrassing moment: Falling on my face in gym during my 8th-grade year
Next year I will be: Attending college, majoring in a business field.
Elijah Kindle is the son of Clayton and Tonya Kindle.
School activities: I am involved in Business Professionals of America, Student Council (President), National Honor Society, National Technical Honors Society, and a former member of the National FFA Organization.

My advice to parents: Always support your child through everything.

Next year I will be: Attending college online, majoring in a business field, while maintaining a full-time or part-time job.
