County Road 23 Closure for Tile Replacement*
On Monday, August 26, 2024, from 7:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., County Road 23 in Stokes Township, between State Route 274 and County Road 52, will be closed for tile replacement. The roadway will be closed to all traffic during these hours. No overnight closures are anticipated, but the schedule may be adjusted due to weather conditions. Please plan alternative routes and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
County Road 31 Closure for Culvert Replacement
County Road 31 in Union Township will be closed for a culvert replacement from Tuesday, August 27, 2024, starting at 8:00 A.M., through Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 5:00 P.M. The closure will affect the area between Township Road 45 and County Road 43. Expect overnight closures during this period. Scheduling is subject to weather conditions. Please plan alternate routes and we apologize for any inconvenience.
Ludlow Road / CR 1 Closure for Road Cut
LeVan’s Excavating will be performing a road cut on Ludlow Road / CR 1 in Lake Township on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. County Road 18 Closure for Profile Improvement
County Road 18 in Liberty Township will be closed for a profile improvement project from August 19, 2024, to September 13, 2024. The closure will be south of the Township Road 200 intersection, with CR 18 and TR 200 remaining open. Detour signage will direct traffic via CR 43, CR 31, and CR 11. State Route 508 Culvert Replacement
State Route 508 will experience closures due to culvert replacement projects at two different locations. From Monday, August 19 through Friday, August 23, SR 508 will be closed between Cornish Drive and Meadow Lane. The primary detour for this closure will redirect traffic from U.S. 68 to SR 47 West, then to SR 235 South. Tractor trailers are required to use the truck route through the city of Bellefontaine.
Starting Monday, August 26 through Friday, August 30, SR 508 will be closed again, this time between County Road 31 S and Township Road 202. For eastbound traffic, the detour will be SR 235 North to SR 47 East to US 68 South, then back to SR 508. Westbound traffic will follow US 68 North to SR 47 West to SR 235 South. As before, tractor trailers must use the Bellefontaine truck route.
State Route 366 and 368 Resurfacing
Beginning Tuesday, September 3, and continuing through Thursday, October 31, resurfacing work will impact State Route 366 and State Route 368. On State Route 366, intermittent lane closures will occur between State Route 117 and Township Road 94, while State Route 368 will see similar closures between State Route 366 and Buckeye Drive. Work will be conducted from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, with traffic managed through flagging operations.
State Route 235 Railroad Crossing Closure
State Route 235 will be closed between New Street and Mill Street from Monday, September 16 through Monday, September 30 to facilitate railroad crossing repairs. The designated detour route will take drivers from State Route 29 East to State Route 296 East, then to U.S. 68 North, continuing on State Route 508 West back to State Route 235.
