The Ohio Department of Transportation is reminding motorists to expect continued lane restrictions on several state highways in Champaign County this week as roadway resurfacing projects continue.

Drivers should plan for intermittent single-lane traffic in multiple locations during daytime hours, with traffic maintained by flaggers.

Current projects include:

  • State Route 55 between Old Troy Pike and U.S. 68. The roadway will be reduced to a single lane intermittently from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. through August while crews repave the highway.
  • State Route 29 between State Route 235 and State Route 560. Intermittent single-lane restrictions will continue from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. through September for resurfacing work.
  • State Route 245 between Brush Lake Road and Gilbert Road. Drivers can expect intermittent lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. through September as crews continue repaving operations.

ODOT reminds drivers to use caution in work zones, obey flaggers, watch for workers and equipment, and allow extra travel time when traveling through construction areas this week.
