Residents in Urbana experienced a temporary water outage Monday morning as crews began repairing a valve along Ohio State Route 29.
The repair began around 8 a.m. on April 6, affecting customers along Route 29 between Bon Air Drive and Tanglewood Drive. Water service in the area has been shut off and is expected to be restored later in the day.
Traffic patterns on Route 29 have shifted during the project, and access to Tanglewood Drive is limited to the east entrance only. Some equipment has also been staged near the west entrance ahead of the repair.
