Drivers in Champaign County should expect continued delays as two major roadway resurfacing projects remain underway.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, State Route 29 between State Route 235 and State Route 560 will continue to experience intermittent single-lane closures through September 2026.

The restrictions are in place daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., with traffic maintained by flaggers while crews repave the roadway.

A similar project is also continuing on State Route 245 between Brush Lake Road and Gilbert Road.

That stretch will also be reduced to one lane at times between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. through September 2026 as paving work progresses.

Motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time, watch for workers and equipment, and follow directions from flaggers in work zones.

ODOT reminds drivers that construction schedules are weather-dependent and may change as needed.
